We process 95% of our products through our own planing mill and factory, employing upwards of 100 people at our two facilities.

Historically our business imported and then planed softwood for supply in the length for our customers to further process. At Bayram Timber we now provide further processing by x-cutting, bevelling and notching to customers’ specific requirements. We can still of course, simply supply quality machined timber for those who prefer to process their own components.

We offer our customers the opportunity to outsource their softwood components that they currently manufacture in house. Cut to length, bevelled and notched sections to customers’ specifications are packed and labelled to their requirements in either batch quantities or kit format.

Thus Bayram Timber enable components to be delivered ‘just in time’ to a production line programme, saving the customer on storage space and stock, wastage, manufacturing costs and allowing them to turn supply on and off as their output requires.

All waste has a cost, it has to be managed, stored, recycled or disposed of. If you buy your timber in a component or kit format then we are handling and recycling all the waste, saving you money. We will also collect our pallets and timber packaging from your site for re-use on your next delivery.

Buying further processed and kitted timber enables you to budget more accurately and identify true costs per component. Allowing us to supply components ‘just in time’ reduces your raw material stocks and means deliveries can be tailored to your fluctuating production demands, saving you money on overheads and stock.
